About Zohra
She grew up with dance and music from Africa and Latin-America.
With her mother, a dancer and teacher (Germany/France), and her father (Algeria) she has temporarily been living in Westafrica and Algeria.
In Germany she studied Modern Jazz and Afro in her mother's dance studio.
2005 she ''caught the Cuban Virus'' in participating regularly in workshops with Israel Gutierrez and other Cuban teachers and by visiting Cuba.
With her arabo-african backround it was easy for her to identify with Cuban dance and music.
At the moment she is undergoing her professional training as a dancer (modern and ballet).
